Carbohydrates carry about 50 percent of the energies needed to provide the atlete with the body power they need to complete whatever althletic test they need to. Foods like pasta, potatoes, and many foods that are rich with grains are the perfect way for you to fill your body with the carbohydrates that you need to feel more enery.
Eating foods rich in protein is also another way to fuel your body with energy. Eat meats or other foods that are known for their protein having properties, and you can help to build up your energy better just by eating certain foods.
Also, remember to drink plenty of water. Water is a necessity for all people, but it is especially important for the energy needed for an althlete. Athletes tend to sweat more than more peope because they exert a lot of energy, and that sweat needs to be replenished constantly by water to keep the body fully functional and safe from harm. Try to change a few things in your diet and you, too, will be able to perform at your peak.
